A paper on current climatic conditions on earth.

Only 10 or less of every million molecules of air are ozone. The majority of these ozone molecules resides in a layer between 10 and 40 kilometers (6 and 25 miles) above the Earth's surface in the stratosphere.

Each spring in the stratosphere over Antarctica (Spring in the southern hemisphere is from September through November.), atmospheric ozone is rapidly destroyed by chemical processes. 

As winter arrives, a vortex of winds develops around the pole and isolates the polar stratosphere. [see INF1 18.] When temperatures drop below -78°C (-109°F), thin clouds form of ice, nitric acid, and sulphuric acid mixtures. Chemical reactions on the surfaces of ice crystals in the clouds release active forms of CFCs. Ozone depletion begins, and the ozone “hole” appears. 

Over the course of two to three months, approximately 50% of the total column amount of ozone in the atmosphere disappears. At some levels, the losses approach 90%. This has come to be called the Antarctic ozone hole.

In spring, temperatures begin to rise, the ice evaporates, and the ozone layer starts to recover.

The ozone "hole" is really a reduction in concentrations of ozone high above the earth in the stratosphere. The ozone hole is defined geographically as the area wherein the total ozone amount is less than 220 Dobson Units. The ozone hole has steadily grown in size (up to 27 million sq. km.) and length of existence (from August through early December) over the past two decades. www.

In 1998, NASA satellite data showed that the antarctic ozone hole was the largest on record, covering 27 million square kilometers; researchers in 1997 found that increased ultraviolet light passing through the hole damages the DNA of icefish, an antarctic fish lacking hemoglobin; ozone depletion earlier was shown to harm one-celled antarctic marine plants; in 2002, significant areas of ice shelves disintegrated in response to regional warming.

Geography - note:  

The coldest, windiest, highest (on average), and driest continent; during summer, more solar radiation reaches the surface at the South Pole than is received at the Equator in an equivalent period; mostly uninhabitable. www.

Amidst the glaciers Giants keep watch over the currents of the world. The fields of ice blossom with pure fire, and the air is rich with ozone. LOMG1 133.

Pure thoughts are like the ozone of space.

Verily, one can fill one's surroundings with them, but only in a definite consonance. To launch a pure thought and muffle it with a dozen cravings is like a horrible dissonance. Consonance is to be understood as a series of resoundings in accord. LOMG2 20.

The illness of My Friend [KH.jc.] is an example. He went out with a great store of psychic energy, but the ignorance of the people around him, and their irritability and stubbornness, created a poisonous atmosphere.

When in Our Tower We can use a special ozone, but I cannot deny that even there We suffer from the poisoned atmosphere. SMD2 282.

Ozone is more powerful than Chlorine - It is 51 times as powerful and 3,000 times as fast at killing bacteria. It disinfects the air - Applied to the air, it dis-infects and sanitizes the air.

Ozone gas (O3) is a naturally occurring tri-atomic form of oxygen (O2) that is formed as sunlight passes through the atmosphere or when streaks through the air. It can be generated artificially by passing high voltage electricity through oxygenated air (corona discharge), causing oxygen to break apart and recombine in the tri-atomic form. www.

A positive desire for recovery the renunciation of former methods of life, the sacrifice of deleterious and harmful  appetites, the introduction by natural means of a higher degree of the fiery lives, "the builders" by means of pure Ozone and Oxygen, which in their turn destroy the "devourers;" all these conduce to the recovery of the victim of his own imprudent self-indulgence. Heat and cold, as we understand the term, in a most peculiar manner are the result of the interplay of the pairs of opposites, and an interesting line of occult study concerns itself with the effects of racial emotions on climatic conditions.

We most truly make our climate in one significant sense.

When desire has burnt itself out, planetary life comes to an end, as climatic conditions will negate form-life as we understand it. TWM 226.

This is currently a Fire cycle according to Hilarion and Blavatsky and also one of "globle warming" according to contempary exoteric science. DK states that Heat and Cold are the result of the inter-play of the pairs of opposites on the astral plane, of racial emotions. A global warming could indicate a hightening of passion, desire, sexual gratifications ect within the human or racial entity.

Heated destructive thought forms are and indicater given by MM for polluting the atmosphere which in turn produce a destructive chemisim which destroyes the protective layer of Ozone of the planet. This protective net is understood to be greatly effected in the nether regions of the planet, the Antarctica. Possibly it is a physical manifestation of the heat of glamour of the world disciple and temporary. However, the material greed of some of mankind surely has effect on the lifegiving stratosphere of the planet. Let us read the words of MM. JPC.

Indeed, why do people investigate to little the chemism of the air?  Even with earthly apparatus one may record the condensation of destructive substances. FW2 05.

People erroneously believe that poison gases destroy only earthly life; there is a far greater danger in the death-inflicting gas fumes—they vitiate the strata of the atmosphere, in other words, disrupt the chemism of the luminaries. The gases not only endanger life but they can throw the planet out of equilibrium. Assuredly, if even the gas from dung fires is very harmful for the intellect, what of the exhausts from factories. FW1 619.

JPC. However, nature has a habit of balancing the equlibrium of things eventually.

Let us recall the myth about the "Origin of Lightning." The Mother of the World said to the Creator, "When the Earth will be covered with dark veils of malice, how will the salutary drops of Bliss penetrate?" And the Creator answered, "Torrents of Fire may be gathered which can pierce the thickest layer of darkness." FW2 06.

Lincoln and Bismarck. Both men came forth within the same one hundred years, thus demonstrating the balance in nature and the constant interplay of the pairs of opposites. EXT 298.

Man creates and conditions the climatic environment through his state of counciousness creating conditions either faverable or un-faverable for the organisms of the planet. Quite simply, if man were removed, the planet would be forced into pralaya and wither. This underlines the powerfull effect humanity has on the environmentle conditions of Earth. JPC.

God Himself produced the pairs of opposites - spirit and matter -and also produced the middle way which is that of the consciousness aspect or the soul aspect. Ponder deeply on this thought.The triplicity of the pairs of opposites and of the narrow way of balance between them, the noble middle path, is the reflection on the astral plane of the activity of spirit, soul and body; of life, consciousness and form, the three aspects of divinity - all of them equally divine. GLAM 80.

The major task of man is the "regulation of the pairs of opposites." EA 54.

JPC. The use of energy is studied and is at a hight today. A major task for man is the regulation and use of Energy.

The Kurukshetra of the "pairs of opposites" DINA1 179.

The "pairs of opposites" - good and evil, pain and pleasure, right and wrong, sense and nonsense, and the multiplicity of opposites by which the aspirant is today faced. GLAM 110.

One final word I would say: It is the conflict between the pairs of opposites which produces world glamor. It is the resolution of these opposites through the activity of a fourth ray mind which can, when united with others working along these lines, aid in the dispelling of glamor. DINA1 489.

Upon the astral plane there must come the resolution of the pairs of opposites. This is consummated upon the Path of Discipleship. EA 55.

An explosion of ozone. NEC 92.

JPC. Ozone is highly flammible and a higher correspondence to Oxygen. Indeed, in one sense it is fire itself.

As sparks [corona discharge jpc] create ozone. LOMG2 09.

One has to fill space with victorious thoughts, for in them is ozone and protection. AUM 512.

The Ozone mentioned in AY is fiery and protective and also a product of victorious and virtuous thought, in my mind this alludes to the effect the emotional thought forms of racial humanity has on the climate according to the Tibetan. Energy follows thought and the more lofty and virtuous the thought, the purer the electrical discharge producing O3, Ozone as a tri molecular astral pranic building block of Oxygen or O2. The Tri model of Ozone absorbs UV rays O2 does not. Therefore Ozone is demonstrated by exoteric science to absorb and distribute the fire of space as indicated by MM. UV are the burning devas of the prana distributed by the Sun and should be naturally filtered and stepped down by the earths atmosphere.

The Atmosphere produces Oxygen and climatic conditions on earth. The two are interlinked. The atmosphere should offer protection to the kingdoms in nature, including man. The Stratosphere produces Ozone with offers protection. The depletion of the Ozone layer forming a hole [or thinning] reduces protection from the UV Ultra Violet fire of space and could be detrimantle to evolution. One must ask, is humanity assimilating the Breath correctly at this time. JPC.

The blue and violet tones indicate how difficult for the ordinary films are those shades that resemble the tones of the Subtle World, to which the aura belongs. Thus, the aura can be photographed if space is filled with meteoric dust or if, during process, strong psychic energy has participated. Thus, after all physical adaptations, let us return to psychic energy. Yet how necessary it is for the accumulation of this energy primarily to avoid disintegrating blasphemy. HEART 221.

The Stratosphere is filled with planetary psychic energy from the fires of space. It precipitates into differing combinations, Ozone and Meteoric dust being two. These heart energies constitute in part the protective aura of the planet. Hense science reveales any depletion or thinning of said planetary aura i.e. the depletion by thinning of the protective ozone. JPC.

Now, the extended duration of achievement, with the complete depletion of forces in the earthly atmosphere, puts an unbearable strain on the energy. The most powerful stroke, the sternest call, can flash out from but a single explosion; but continuous and repeated action requires a whole sequence of currents of energy. AY 290.

In case of such depletion it is possible to help much, or, as it was said long ago, to "lend Fire." This lending takes place also in the very smallest actions. Thus, already thrice have I reminded about crumbs. From these sparks grow huge fires. FW1 183.

Human thought can build and protect as well as destroy! May the disciples of Earth build and lend great fire. JPC.

People are unwilling to free themselves from the most harmful substance which generates appalling disasters, not to mention the sicknesses caused by disturbances of the atmosphere. More terrifying than any diseases are the destructions of the strata near the planet. How many prayers and good thoughts are required to fill these abysses and ulcers in space! AUM 38.

In addition to being a naturally occurring gas, ozone is also created in the burning of fossil fuels as one component of smog. Burning fossil fuels also releases carbon dioxide into the air, thickening greenhouse gases, adding to the greenhouse effect and global warming. www.

Each manifestation of Cosmos has its application in Eternity. And, as is the devastation, so is the accumulation subject to the rhythm which is inseparable from the affirmed course of your earthly events.

The difference is that Zeus, in creating a cosmic storm, fills space with ozone; whereas your earthly Zeus, creator of wrath, fills the sphere with suffocating smoke. In this, the lowest and the highest do not meet. INF1 18. !!!

Ozone

A reactive gas consisting of three oxygen atoms, formed naturally in the atmosphere by the association of molecular oxygen (O2) and atomic oxygen (O). It has the property of blocking the passage of dangerous wavelengths of ultraviolet radiation in the upper atmosphere. Whereas it is a desirable gas in the stratosphere, it is toxic to living organisms in the troposphere.

Ozone Depletion

Accelerated chemical destruction of the stratospheric ozone layer by the presence of substances produced, for the most part, by human activities. The most depleting species for the ozone layer are the chlorine and bromine free radicals generated from relatively stable chlorinated, fluorinated and brominated products by ultraviolet radiation. www.

One should guard fire as a treasure. The phosphorous of the nerves can be consumed like a wick; is a lamp fit without it? One could add the "oil" of ozone, but with no wick, the fire cannot be kindled. AY 369.

JPC. Ozone is, "The prana of Benefaction." FW1 32.

Yet even in the plains, even in the city squares, before expressing a decision, try to inhale as deeply as possible. In this inhalation perhaps a particle of the prana of Benefaction will reach you through all barriers. FW1 32.

Ozone, in the higher state, reproduces, as it were, the odor of evergreens. FW2 179.

Oxygen – Just as the protracted changes into the imperceptible, so is the structure of oxygen invisible—the birthplace of the power of fire. AY 499.

The invisible structure of Oxygen is composed of the fire of Ozone. JPC.

Ozone is an unstable, but highly beneficial molecule. It's the tri-atomic form of oxygen: Instead of the normal arrangement of 2 atoms of oxygen (O2), ozone is comprised of 3 atoms of oxygen (O3). Ozone, however, doesn't want to stay in that tri-atomic state very long and unless held in check or bound by other molecular couplings, ozone will usually break down from O3 to O2 + O1 within 20 minutes of so (at atmospheric pressure at least). O1 is called a singlet oxygen atom and is HIGHLY REACTIVE with just about any substance that should NOT be in the human body including all pathogens (virus, bacteria, etc.) and synthetic compounds or their metabolites such as drugs and their
